About The Author

Throughout her professional career, Sofia Silva has worked primarily in higher education, psychology and training.

Over time, writing, illustration and creativity became complementary ways of communicating ideas, inspiring reflection and promoting human development.

Since 2015, her experiences in a community vegetable garden near her city have become one of the greatest sources of inspiration for this book.

Sofia strongly believes that Nature has an extraordinary educational and transformative power, helping us reconnect with simplicity, cooperation, respect for life and the most authentic part of ourselves. It was from this conviction that the book "Does Anyone Know Where Superheroes Live?!" was born.

Message From The Author

The book "Does Anyone Know Where Superheroes Live?!" was born from my deep love for Nature, creativity and education.  Through characters inspired by vegetables, fruits and the small creatures that inhabit a vegetable garden, the story invites children — and adults alike — to explore the natural world with curiosity, wonder and respect. More than just a story, this book encourages values such as cooperation, imagination, environmental awareness and the discovery that the greatest superheroes may be much closer than we think and that true sustainability begins from within.

Why I Believe in This Book

"I believe this project is much more than a children's story. My hope is that the magic, joy and care that inspired every page will reach children's hearts, nurturing their curiosity, imagination and love for Nature. At the same time, I hope it will also touch adults — those who still have eyes to see, hearts to feel and the willingness to rediscover what truly matters through life's simplest moments.
