Who Is This Book For?...
At first glance, this may seem like a book just for children.
But perhaps it would be more accurate to say that it is a book for anyone who still has enough curiosity to allow themselves to be surprised.
For children, because they will discover fun characters, an unexpected adventure and a natural world full of life.
For families, because a story can be a wonderful opportunity to read, talk, discover and learn together.
For parents, educators and teachers, because stories can open doors to explore important themes in a way that is accessible, imaginative and meaningful.
For those who want to bring children closer to Nature, awakening in them respect for Life, curiosity about the natural world and an awareness that we are part of something greater.
And also for adults who, in an increasingly fast-paced world, feel that it is important to return to the simple things.
Because perhaps this book is not only about a vegetable garden, vegetables and little animals. Perhaps it is also about the way we choose to look at the world... and at ourselves!
A Book To Be Lived...

This story, like all good stories, was not made to remain closed between the pages of a book. It was made to come alive in a conversation, a game, a drawing, a question... or a new way of looking at the world. And so, perhaps the most interesting part of the story is not only what we find within its pages...but what it manages to awaken after we close them.
That is the wish that accompanies this book: that somewhere between an adventure, a laugh and a discovery, a more attentive, curious and caring way of looking at Nature, at others and at ourselves may begin to grow. Because, in the end, perhaps that is one of Life's great adventures: learning to care for that which we are part of.
